you've got mailhere my life is metal, shine  I was told apples keep doctors away  now chemicals shot through my veins keep me fine  white mask delivers dull pain that permeates my days   
is it wrong now my life is hate?  my father prays to mother mary  I know his efforts are a waste  don't worry dad, my end won't be scary   
high-tech, new ideas, changes for tomorrow  I resent their buttons and beeps, they mean nothing to me  my ship has sank too low  I'm done with machines that breathe for me  besides, how long till be all run empty?

you should knowyour empty bed is looming large again  it's filling the room as it always does when you leave  the instant the red tail lights flare  and a part of me drives away with the hastily packed bags

writers 01-the houseEvery day I pass the house with  
brown wooden shutters and weathered stone.  
The house is not strongly built, stone upon stone,  
but clings to each brick, grasping itself together.  
The windows and door are gaping holes  
that spill the dank insides of the house.  
Every day I pass the house,  
its brokenness reels me in, like a desperate calling for help.  Every day I trod the path that leads me there,  
a fixation unexplained.  
Some days I try to avert my eyes,  to keep the desolation from burning me.  
The structure is a skeleton of everything that repels me.
